Doctors Declare Independence:  Why and How

Oklahoma City, August 13, 6:30pm

Come hear the destroyer of ClintonCare, Dr. Jane Orient, at the Surgery Center of  Oklahoma on Aug. 13th, 6:30pm.  There is no charge for this rare opportunity to hear Dr. Orient speak about the current state of medical politics.  Dr. Orient is the executive director of the  Association of American Physicians and Surgeons and represents the anti-AMA: pro private practice and free markets in medicine. You will be inspired by her intellect and the utter absence of compromise in her thinking and her actions (for which she is legendary). Dr. Orient is particularly intrigued by the entrepreneurial spirit amongst Oklahoma physicians and is looking forward to meeting many of you.

Please RSVP to aaps@aapsonline.org.

The event will be held at:

The Surgery Center of Oklahoma

9500 N. Broadway Ext

Oklahoma City, OK 73144

If you’ve read or seen reports about the town halls occurring across the country, no doubt you know by now that there is a lot of passionate people on both sides of the aisle.

If we are to regain control of our country, we have to channel our anger and put it to effective use.  These town halls and the August 22nd rally at the State Capitol are a golden opportunity to show the media and our fellow citizens what we are made of, that we aren’t an unruly mob, that we are tough enough to be civil despite provocation.

Toward that goal, all of us are going to have to take pains to be polite to any politician who comes to the rally, and take care to present a good image for the media.

If a member of the opposition gets in your face, stay calm, stay out of trouble, bring a video camera and tape as much of the event as you can.

I doubt that we will have to deal with the abuse given to conservatives on the two left coasts, this is a conservative state.  But be ready for trouble, stand your ground proudly, and let others defend you should the need arise.

I doubt that we will have to deal with the abuse given to conservatives on the two left coasts, this is Oklahoma, we don’t take guff from anyone.   But be ready for trouble, stand your ground proudly, and let others defend you should the need arise.
